ABSTRACT
Space and time are the two scales upon which most crime analysis is based. This chapter discusses various aspects of space and time as they relate to crime and crime analysis. The chapter builds on the discussions in Chapters 3, 4, and 5, and provides an understanding of the common patterns and trends in crime data and how they might be analyzed.
