ABSTRACT
As discussed in the previous chapter, the Internet is closely related to hidden youth. The unique characteristics of the Internet make it a platform that enables hidden youth to engage in various activities. First, it provides an anonymous and free environment in which hidden youth can explore and exert their own preferred self-identities. Also, the Internet helps youth find peers who share similar interests and backgrounds to them.
