In case you did not read the introduction (if possible, please go back and do so), let me quickly point out one of the features of this book before you get started. At the beginning of each chapter, you will see a Language Focus box, which may seem a little out of place at first glance. However, this box is very important as it sets up the language focus for the chapter. Its purpose is to provide interesting context for the grammar examples and exercises. You will also see a number of Did you know? boxes that include relevant and engaging facts (and many links) about language.
