ABSTRACT
The aim of this chapter is to inform readers of how visibility in the public spaces of hospitals can influence a patient’s experience. The visibility factor is important with regard to both the general scale of the building and the scale of the most important individual spaces. How can visibility guide users, represent an important factor for orientation as well as a tool for controlling the space and controlling healthcare procedures, and help to reduce users’ stress?
