The Reconstruction of a Geometrical Configuration with Partly Regular and Partly Contingent Elements

The mnemonic reconstruction of spatial configurations deserves further consideration, not so much in order to demonstrate that it is easier to effect than pure recall (which, we think, has been established) but for the purpose of analysing its components more closely. To that end we deployed a model more difficult to remember than the last, and one in which the role of the organizing schematization was not only more pronounced, but also increased with age.
