ABSTRACT

Jango Edwards born in Detroit 1950 has performed unique clown shows all over the world. In the 1970s, he was part of the Friends Roadshow with Nola Rae, and a primary organizer of the International Festival of Fools in Amsterdam. Later he went solo, building up fan-bases in Holland, France, Germany, and Austria, where he made many TV appearances. In 2009, Jango created the Nouveau Clown Institute in Barcelona, which has attracted artists from 31 different countries for clown inspiration.
