ABSTRACT
Peter Shub was born in Philadelphia, 1957 studied with mime master Etienne Decroux and clown genius Philippe Gaulier in Paris, France. He has performed and toured with Circus Roncali, the Big Apple Circus, and Cirque du Soleil. He was awarded the Silver Clown at the 1993 Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival. He performed his solo clown show Vestiaire Non Surveille at the Off Avignon Festival in Avignon, France. Temple University in Philadelphia, and during school, to supplement income. Peter Shub became a tour guide at the university. Peter Shub met Daniel Stein. Daniel Stein influenced him a lot. Decroux taught all about technique, and Daniel taught to play with it. Peter met Philippe Gaulier that he learned how to be ridiculous, and find the joy to be an idiot on stage, which totally contradicted the style of Decroux and Daniel Stein.
