ABSTRACT

Geoff Hoyle born in England, 1946 is a founding member of the Pickle Family Circus, where he created beloved clown Mr. Sniff. He performed as a clown in Cirque du Soleil's Nouvelle Experience, and originated the role of Zazu in The Lion King on Broadway. He later created several critically acclaimed solo performances including Feast of Fools, featuring masked commedia dell'arte characters; The Convict's Return about taking Feast of Fools to Broadway; The First Hundred Years, an improbable history of comedy; and Geezer, a highly physical comedy about like to grow old. Charlie Cairoli, the Cairoli Brothers, working in the Chipperfield Circus, Bertram Mills Circus, Blackpool Tower Circus in England when he was growing up. Her first thinkings toward performance both a means of survival in the schoolyard and in the classroom, and a means of obtaining affection from friends and family.
