ABSTRACT
It is widely known that sexual predators choose employment and volunteer in sectors that give them access to children. Furthermore, predators are choosing younger and younger victims, knowing that they are safe from prosecution if there are no independent, mature witnesses and victims lack the sophisticated communication skills needed to undergo rigorous cross -examination by barristers. This makes early-childhood centres and primary schools ideal targets for paedophiles.
