ABSTRACT
The Tertiary Zone of Protection represents the last defense against the intruder. This zone is most often characterized by the use of electronic protection systems and/or a safe or vault. Although alarm systems are often used in both the Primary and Secondary Zones of Protection, these tertiary intrusion detection systems represent a multifaceted system designed to integrate and interface a variety of sensory and surveillance components to provide the highest level of defense.
