ABSTRACT

America’s law enforcement community is engaged in an expansive war on drugs. Ever since the mid-1980s, the drug problem has consumed an ever-increasing amount of police administrators and other governmental officials’ time and effort as they plan and implement drug reduction strategies. They have sought more effective ways to control the continued and steady increase in drug use and sales. Drug dealers and people in the drug culture control areas within some American cities. The drug related criminality in our major cities makes it even more important for the police to develop effective measures for dealing with the drug problem.
