ABSTRACT
This experiment was designed to compare the performance of officers executing a dump style entry to those executing a slice entry. Because part of the debate about the effectiveness of these entries revolves around the ability of officers to cover their respective areas when they are exposed to a threat, it was necessary to utilize a design that would capture differences in the ability to cover areas of responsibility.
