ABSTRACT
This chapter presents automotive practical worksheets for servicing automotive engine parts. The worksheets provide step-by-step guidelines for servicing coil, primary and secondary circuit components, multipoint injection components, and inspecting fuel system for leaks, operation of positive crankcase ventilation system and exhaust system for leaks. A blank job card for students to complete and an assessor report are provided with each worksheet. This should be copied and then filled in alongside the task he/she is completing, including all relevant details regarding the vehicle, the fault and the rectification procedure where appropriate. Students should write down a description of the work that he/she did to complete the task including any technical data that he/she sourced, any difficulties that he/she encountered and how he/she overcame them. The worksheets book for students at Level 2 contains tasks that help students develop practical skills and prepare them for assessment. The tasks also reinforce the automotive theory that they will learn online and in the classroom.
