ABSTRACT
This chapter presents worksheets that contain a range of practical activities that will enable people develop their abilities as an automotive chassis systems technician. The tasks are aligned with recognized vocational qualifications. A blank job card and an assessor report are provided with each worksheet. This should be copied and then filled in alongside the task people are completing, including all relevant details regarding the vehicle, the fault and the rectification procedure where appropriate. If people had any health and safety issues to address this will help demonstrate their competence. By completing job cards thoroughly at this stage of a career as a technician, he/she will be well prepared for the time when they are required to complete job cards in the workplace as a Level 2 technician.
