ABSTRACT
I OWING, in some measure, to an impeccable persona, the patient at first proved a baffling subject for analysis. The discussion of personal material and dreams went along smoothly enough, but although the patient's interest was genuinely engaged the depths apparently were not stirred. Eventually, without any suggestion from me, he was prompted to try the one medium of expression which had already proved of service as a subjective outlet.
