ABSTRACT
This chapter contains a list of useful resources for anyone involved in the process of mooting. It covers competitions, sponsorship and other resources that will be of interest to mooters as well as to those organising mooting competitions. There are numerous mooting competitions each offering a slightly different approach and focus. The Inner Temple Mooting Society runs a number of mooting events, the largest being the Lawson Moot and the Inter-Varsity Moot, both of which are held within the Inn. The Middle Temple hosts an annual mooting competition for its student members which are open to both BPTC and CPE/ Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) students. The ECC—SAL International Mooting Competition, co-organised by the members of Essex Court Chambers and the Singapore Academy of Law, presents an ideal opportunity for young lawyers to showcase and hone their skills as advocates.
