ABSTRACT
Determinants of Unemployment Along with migration data, Kerala Migration Surveys (KMS) has collected a variety of information on human resources (employment and education in particular). These data could be used to analyse the educational/occupational status of the migrants and compare them with that of the non-migrants. Such comparisons would give measures of the impact of emigration on the human resources of the state. The loss and gains in human resources could be matched against financial gains through remittances.
