chapter  9
The Power of Immediate Feedback
Pages 8

Online technologies can not only deliver assessments that have graphics, audio, and video but can also provide immediate feedback as students work through a MCQ assessment or after they complete one. This assessment can be done during or outside of class for either low-stakes or high-stakes situations. This feedback can range from a focus on misconceptions targeted at specific answer choices to overall performance for individual students or the entire class. We’ll demonstrate how to write effective feedback for MCQs and how to leverage the technology to support feedback to students to improve their learning.
