ABSTRACT
What happens in a setting like this, where the important elements are the following: doing, with and angels, that is, practice, relation and the metaempirical other? In order to link these elements with each other, I attempt to complement theoretical insights from practice approaches with those from phenomenology. is combination is fragile and risky, but I propose that it is worth trying for various reasons. First, a religion like this is about practice in many ways. Second, it is about humans relating and doing things with an “other-something” (see also Utriainen 1999-2000). Finally, it is also about various other beings or powers. ese three aspects ask to be connected.
