Now we are ready to add another media to the mix and that media is video. As we have already discovered, Adobe has aggressively designed Photoshop to accommodate a variety of skill sets such as painting, graphic design, photography, 3D and video. We are going to discover a creative workfl ow for including video and 3D into a scene that was created using photo compositing techniques in Photoshop. This book focuses on 3D instead of compositing, so I have provided the fi nal composited image called “background.jpg” for us to focus on integrating both the 3D tower and the video. In the fi rst section of this chapter, you are shown how to build the 3D tower from scratch; however, you can fi nd the completed object in the fi le called “3D Tower.tif” that you can use to follow along, starting at Figure 8.1, if you choose.
