Some formats may have an incredible quality but the cameras are too large for a oneperson investigative reporter. The bottom line is that the best format varies for different people and situations. You have to weigh the costs involved, size of the equipment, portability, size of the crew, amount of data storage needed, and the situation that you will be covering, and then go for the highest-quality format that works with your specific requirements and situation. Sometimes, it is not an easy decision to make.
