ABSTRACT
The concepts discussed in this chapter are diverse. The thread that ties them together is a desire for naturally produced crops and livestock. What it means for something to be naturally produced is a topic of considerable debate. The general goal is to maintain soil health and genetic diversity and to reconnect people with food production. Also tied into this is a desire for an agricultural industry that provides producers and agricultural workers with a fair return for their effort.
