ABSTRACT

The classroom is part of an environment in which interactions take place between students and teacher and among students. The physical environment can increase anxiety among students if the environment is unfamiliar. In photographic education, today digital technologies have replaced older methods and the requirement for specialized spaces. To understand the physical function of educational spaces, students must delve into the perceptions and proxemics of the spaces that they use as classrooms and laboratories. Though perceptual processes are primarily a result of personal development, the psycho-social and physical nature of perception has great importance in understanding the function of educational spaces. Vision is the most important part in learning photography. Visual stimulation is used to raise awareness and increase readiness for learning. The concept of a sonic territory makes noticeable the effect of auditory control in spatial definition. Hybrid courses, sometimes called 'blended' courses, offer elements of both face-to-face interaction with a teacher and an online approach.
