ABSTRACT
The process of enhancing Central Asia’s role in the world economy must, in our opinion, be grounded in the development of two key sectors of the national economies of the countries within the region. It is these sectors that determine the significance and the competitiveness of those countries on the world markets. They are foreign trade and finances.
