ABSTRACT

When the financial arrangements to be prescribed by the Minister for private patients are known, the tables of contributions and benefits will be adjusted to meet the requirements of the members, and it seems that while private treatment is available to the public, a mutual aid organisation of this nature will be necessary and welcome. The potential membership of such a body is necessarily limited and only by a unified national scheme will it be possible to secure complete financial security, and afford to members the maximum benefit at a minimum cost.
