Managing a Stage Boundary (SB) Confirms to the Project Board that products planned to be produced in the current Stage Plan have been delivered and gives reasons for the non-delivery of any products which were planned. The Project Board reviews a revised Business Case as a major part of the check on the continued viability of the project. In response to an Exception Report, the Project Board may request the Project Manager to prepare a new plan to replace the remainder of the current plan. The Project Board approves a Stage Plan on the understanding that it stays within its defined tolerance margins. The Project plan ensures that the current Stage Plan has been updated with final costs and dates and also checks to see if events mean that the Project Initiation Documentation has to be modified.
