ABSTRACT
This chapter is concerned with elaborating the central aspect of the integrated model of organizational toxicity presented in Chapter 6, Figure 6.7. It considers the macro sources that sit at the centre of this model, each of which can poison an organization. For ease I have divided these sources of toxicity into the following four categories:
structural sources of toxicity;
cognitive sources of toxicity;
behavioural sources of toxicity;
symbolic sources of toxicity.
