ABSTRACT
Carlos is a 61-year-old Cuban immigrant whose family came to the United States when he was 15. After 20 years of marriage, Carlos’s wife died five years ago, and he has not been in a serious relationship since. Carlos retired from his job in sales two years ago after he noticed that he was having trouble remembering client names and orders. Shortly after noticing these symptoms, Carlos was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
