ABSTRACT
The notion of 'interactive students' is the key to all the work you do to inspire your students through technology. The central message at all times must be that if your immediate thought is that it is too much work then you are approaching the idea of using technology to inspire your students incorrectly. If a student was unsure about a part of their learning at home and they wanted to contact a friend to ask their advice, they would not write an email. It might be the student is Facebook friends with an uncle who knows the answer to the first part of the question. The second part is specific to their class and teacher. In the same way that the teacher has to encourage his/her students to help one another as part of their learning, so teacher can do the same with a recognition of how they are behaving for online learning.
