Freedom of information: aspects of art and society in western Europe during the last Ice Age

While it would be possible to attempt to specify the economic and social relations by appeal to a relationship between social relations and the behaviour associated with pictures in some group of existing people, I prefer not to do this as it is clear that the specific form of such social relations is determined by ideologies which are not linked in any simple manner with the material objects through which they may, at times, have been expressed.
