ABSTRACT
In the previous two chapters, each U-boat wreck of the WW1 era has been subjected to either survey or evaluation, or both. As a result it is now possible to draw up an accurate, up-to-date list of the wrecks as understood in 2013 (the 2013 List). This can then be used to make insightful comparisons with the original 1919 List (NA ADM 239/26). As described in Chapter One, there are questions that it was anticipated this research could answer. This chapter will address the research questions as we attempt to draw together a more accurate picture of the U-boats destroyed in WW1 in the Study Area.
