NOTE ON THE NORTH-WESTERN SECTIONS OF LONDON WALL PRESERVED AS A RESULT OF THE BOMBING IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR

As the outcome of the investigations above summarised, the Corporation of the City of London has been able to extend its modern policy of conserving the city wall wherever possible. A fortunate combination of circumstances has resulted in the preservation to view of elements covering all the phases represented in the Moorgate-Cripplegate area and they are listed below in order from north-east to south-west.
