ABSTRACT
Arguably, the most significant barrier to sustainable global development remains challenges related to public health. Disease and the lack of adequate preventative care can take a significant toll on developing populations and economies. These problems are further exacerbated by a global shortage of health workers, and the resource constraints on health systems in the developing world.
