ABSTRACT
Shoni is the fi rst tribal member to play Division I collegiate basketball. She was the starting guard for the Louisville women’s basketball team. Shoni and the Louisville women made it to the Sweet 16 her fi rst season, to the championship game at the Final Four in her junior year, and to the Elite Eight in her senior year .
