ABSTRACT

Artists' well of choices to draw from is as full of experiences and information as possible is a vital element to that and a wonderful characteristic of them. Serendipity can certainly be helped along a bit by ensuring that they are always inquisitive and seeking out new information. In this chapter, the author provides unique strategies that provide a better sense of financial security for artists in two ways. One is to always be sure that artists know their audience, that they understand their environment. The second is that they never know what information will prove to be useful. The inquisitive side of their artistic self is always looking for new knowledge, knowing that it may well serve them creatively at some point in the future. Opportunities are there for those of artists who think outside the box and are not afraid to explore new territory.
