ABSTRACT

This conclusion wraps up the core concepts explored throughout this book and discusses how visual development artists can best present their work in a portfolio setting. It examines the advantages of a physical versus digital portfolio and the utilization of social media to expand one's audience and personal brand. There are a number of different formats to consider when presenting work to a potential client. While having a digital/online presence is crucial, assembling a traditional portfolio is just as important. Prices vary depending on the quality of the portfolio binder; however, these provide the advantage of being more flexible in that an artist can continuously arrange and rearrange work to fit the needs of the viewer or specific project. A personal website is still the most effective digital portfolio. This should be solely dedicated to one's visual development work and reflect his/her skillset and his/her "brand".
