ABSTRACT
A fearless parent relation is a critical part of a fearless classroom to create respectful and constantly connected relationships with the parents of the students in classroom. There are few greater commitments teachers can make than committing to students and their parents that are a third of the team who provide the highest-quality learning experiences possible. This chapter provides some ways to make sure students' parents feel that they are a pivotal component of their child's educational experience. It suggests that teachers should send email updates weekly that not only highlight what was learned, and what is happening in class. Teachers should create an initial report card instructional video to help parents understand how to read and understand the grading system in one's district. They should also create an interactive wiki and/or Skype with classrooms, when they will be out of the classroom.
