ABSTRACT
This book began with buying tomatoes at a local market. The first Sustainability Assessment book opened with decision making about a nickel mine on the northern Labrador coast. In the following chapters, the topics of application spread around the world, covering 16 different cases with concerns ranging from pipelines and peanut wastes to biodiversity offsets and disaster recovery. These application stories provide a reasonable survey of applications linked to the approach set out in the first book. But the realm of possible sustainability assessment applications is much larger.
