ABSTRACT
Some pedagogical suggestions In response to those who, in review of an earlier version of chapter 2, asked for indications of how the notion of cognitive frames could be applied to the discussion of translation problems, the following is offered. We first indicate different ways of representing cognitive frames and how the frames concerning a biblical notion may vary due to different cultural backgrounds. We then suggest some other ways of teaching translators about frames.
