ABSTRACT
This chapter reports on the result of a small-scale exploration of Vietnamese EFL secondary school teachers’ beliefs about the recently introduced innovation in English language education in Vietnam. The chapter begins with the information about Vietnam’s educational system and its English language education landscape to provide the context for the study. This is followed by the discussion of the findings gained from the study and the implications for the improvement of the quality of English language education in Vietnamese secondary schools.
