ABSTRACT
Harvey notes a small historic African American community denied access to the economic engine of the Inner Harbor in downtown Baltimore, the community of Sharp Leadenhall where one's networked anthropology has found them working for years. This ethnographic poetic, as it were, captures the real processes one is attempting to document through networked anthropology in the community of Sharp Leadenhall, one of the oldest African American communities in the city of Baltimore. HonFest is a neighborhood festival initiated in order to celebrate the now gentrified and former working-class community of Hampden in northwest Baltimore. The chapter considers an emphasis on reflexivity to be paramount in both the process of production and actual dissemination of a video. The process is quite simple and the GIS and video upload capacity of Google maps makes it easy to create and disseminate through a variety of network capacities.
