ABSTRACT
Measurement & Control Technology professional graduation design usually starts in the second semester of Senior year, which will last for 15 weeks. But in recent years, the employment situation of graduates is more and more serious, which leads that some students to go out for job fairs or interviews form companies or postgraduate schools, while others have to prepare for the make-up exams before graduation, etc. All of reasons cause the shortage of effective time of graduation design, inefficiency and the slow progress, which also seriously affect the quality of graduation design. To improve the quality of graduation design, the time of it has been adjusted for 18 weeks through the application, and the professional teachers who are eligible to guide the graduation design must prepare all the topics ready in advance,
1 INTRODUCTION
Graduation design is an important practical teaching link to train and develop students’ innovation ability, practice ability and entrepreneurial spirit in colleges and universities. Not only can it cultivate students’ comprehensive use of knowledge and basic skills which they have learned, but also can carry out basic scientific research training to improve their abilities of analysis and solving social problems, cultivate the spirit of scientific innovation, and strengthen the awareness of active service society. All of these will lay a good foundation in development, design, manufacture and serving the society in scientific research for the students after graduation.
