ABSTRACT

The hot-spot temperature of the power transformer mechanism is extremely complex and uncertain. And it is closely related with the geometry of the transformer (such as winding, iron core, oil flow channel and the cooling system structure) and the material physical properties (such as density, thermal conductivity and viscosity).[1] To forecast and measure the winding hot-spot is still researchful hot and difficult issue. There are some traditional methods of winding hot-spot temperature calculation, such as: use of the guide formula, analogy method, and various modified forms, etc, but the results vary.
