ABSTRACT
Plate and strip mill housing stiffness has a direct impact on steel longitudinal thickness difference, the greater is stiffness of housing, the smaller is elastic deformation, the longitudinal thickness difference of rolling plate is smaller. Housing stiffness is inversely proportional to longitudinal deformation. It can increase the stiffness of mill housing to reduce the plate longitudinal thickness difference.
