ABSTRACT
The boiler combustion optimization approach currently adopted by coal-fired power plants is primarily based on combustion optimization test results from the Jiangxi Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), China, and combustion adjustment is made by the boiler operation technicians according to their own operating experience. As EPRI’s combustion optimization adjustment test results cannot guide the operation online, these test results are not fully taken advantage of.
