ABSTRACT
Applied talents refers to a kind of professional and technical talents who can apply professional knowledge and skills to the engaged professional social practice, and are skilled in the basic knowledge and skills for social production and activity and mainly engaged in front line production. With the development of national economy, the society pays the increasing attention to the cultivation of applied talents, and the applied talents have become the one who are heavily short of in the society. Accordingly, the talent cultivation in university should adapt to the social demand. Through the theoretical knowledge impartment, practical skills training and comprehensive quality cultivation needed during college education, the knowledge impartment, ability cultivation, and quality improvement are combined to an integrity. Paying attention to the coordinated development of key knowledge structure, core ability and basic quality and cultivating the applied talents with high technology application ability, innovative spirit and innovative ability can meet the needs of the modern enterprise for talents.
