ABSTRACT
Continuing and professional development (CPD) occupies a unique place in e-learning, since often CPD courses are funded directly by organizations for their staff and developed under this organizational direction. CPD is intended to improve performance at work. If CPD is to be successful in changing behavior and improving performance on a sustainable basis, it must be designed to meet the needs of both individuals and the organizations they work for, and must be delivered in a quality manner.
