ABSTRACT
Most men are fertile from puberty, which starts around 12 years of age, and remain fertile throughout their adult lives. Sperm are produced in a continuous process, from puberty onwards with each individual spermatozoon taking around three months to reach maturity. Although there is no equivalent to female menopause, men do experience a gradual decrease in testosterone and normal age-related physiological changes.
