ABSTRACT
A woman has a finite number of eggs, which are present from birth and released on a cyclical basis during her fertile years. There are only a few days during each menstrual cycle which are potentially fertile, but the accurate identification of these days allows a couple to use FAMs to either plan or avoid pregnancy.
