ABSTRACT

This chapter presents some games on geometry position and direction such as; treasure hunt, pipeline, chicken pen, and shape up. Treasure Hunt game, which requires 36 identical-looking cards, 35 of them blank and one with a drawing of a treasure chest on its reverse. One also need smaller column labels A to F and row labels 1 to 6 for ease these can be written on two long strips of paper. Pipeline game, which requires a grid of large squares, displayed on a whiteboard or flipchart. The object is for a number of teams to construct a pipeline across the grid, either West-East or East-West. Chicken Pen game is a collaborative brainstorm activity done as teams of three or four. Each team will need an identical set of three or four slips of paper, with lengths written on them, such as 16m, 24m, 36m and 56m.
